What a weekend!

This past weekend was so fun, but so busy! On Friday, our little family took a trip out to Lake Las Vegas. I had a photo session booked out there, but we decided to head out there early to spend time together walking around. Sawyer absolutely loves being outside! And I have learned, I LOVE these little moments we have to spend together as a family.

My little cousin Gage decided to be baptized on Saturday. We couldn't be more proud of him for making such a big decision. He is such a special little kid. Earlier last week I took him up to the temple to take some pictures of him for his big day and he was so eager to get started. He had his CTR ring on and couldn't wait to pose with his Book Of Mormon. Gage was the perfect little model! Afterwards, I took him inside the Temple to sit in the lobby. He was so sweet. He said, "It's just how I thought it would feel, it makes my heart feel warm and I feel loved." I felt so honored to be a part of this moment with him. He has such a pure and loving heart and an eagerness to learn about the Gospel.

I love to see the Temple

This afternoon I took Sawyer on a little walk around the Temple. It was so nice spending the afternoon there, and it was his first time seeing it! I love living so close, it is such a blessing. This was where our little family began. 

The weather was a little hot, but in the shade it was perfect! Perfect enough for a little photo shoot :] Sawyer doesn't sit up yet, so our friend, Megan helped me out. She would hold him until right before I snapped the picture and then would catch him before he fell. It worked! We actually got a good one of him sitting in front if it.

Happy Birthday Jeromy & Amanda!

Early this month was my brother, Jeromy, and sister, Amanda's, birthday! I am so lucky to have them as my siblings and best friends. They set such an awesome example for me and I love them so much. 

My brother can ALWAYS make me laugh, to the point my stomach hurts. We have always gotten along with each other. Whether we are playing COD, making fun of each other, or just hanging out with the kids, we always have a great time. He is such a giving and honest person and a great dad! I am happy to have him as an Uncle for my son and future kids. 

And Amanda, is my best friend. We call each other all the time and if we weren't taking care of kiddos, I don't think we would get off. She just understands me and I know I could tell her anything. As I have gotten older, I realized that she is my constant. I have always had friends that come and go.. whether they move away or we grow apart or maybe we are on two different paths in life.. that has never been the case with her. We can always count on each other. And I was happy to be able to make you a leopard cake for your Birthday!

There is a reason why we are related! Love you both!
